Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said Tuesday that Kyiv discussed two key documents with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) he described as a roadmap toward full membership.
Shmyhal said in a statement that the Economic Survey of Ukraine and the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Review of Ukraine, prepared by the OECD, were presented during a meeting with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, Ukrainian government officials and parliamentarians.
“These documents will serve as a roadmap for the government, the private and public sectors and our partners,” he said.
Shmyhal reaffirmed Ukraine’s strategic goal of becoming a full OECD member and thanked the organization and member states for their continued support.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha described the talks as "substantive," emphasizing efforts to deepen the OECD-Ukraine partnership to rebuild the country and integrate into the European and global economies.
"I am grateful to the OECD for its consistent support and a clear condemnation of Russia’s war against Ukraine," he wrote on X.
