Türkiye's industrial production increased by 1.1% year-on-year in October, the country's statistical office announced on Monday.

All sub items posted increase in the month on a yearly basis, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).

"Mining and quarrying index increased by 3.7%, manufacturing index increased by 1.3% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 3.5% in October 2023," TurkStat added.

On a monthly basis, the industrial production dropped by 0.4%.

Mining and quarrying index rose by 3.2%, manufacturing index declined by 0.3%, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index dropped by 2.3% in October 2023, on an annually basis.
