Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Thursday at 13,589.14 points, down 2.17% day-on-day.
Starting the day at 13,867.12 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 302.07 points from Wednesday's close.
The lowest value of the index was 13,589.14, while the daily high was 13,977.85.
The market value of BIST 100 was around 13.49 trillion Turkish liras ($310.78 billion), with a trading volume of 192 billion liras ($4.41 billion).
Some 19 stocks on the index rose and 80 dropped, compared to the previous close.
Gold was $4,875 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $77.14 per barrel as of 7.50 pm local time (1750GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 43.5390, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 51.4850, and the British pound traded for 59.1480 liras.
