Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed midweek at a new all-time high of 12,028.84 points, up 0.04% from the previous close.
Starting Wednesday at 12,071.36 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 5.06 points from the previous close, when it exceeded the 12,000 threshold for the first time on Tuesday.
The index's lowest value during Wednesday was 11,990.25, while its daily high was 12,124.58.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 11.91 trillion Turkish liras ($277.3 billion), with a daily trading volume of 167.6 billion Turkish liras ($3.89 billion).
During the day, 54 stocks on the index rose and 43 fell compared to the previous close.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,425.75, while Brent crude oil sold for around $60.10 per barrel as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 43.0400 and the euro/lira exchange rate was 50.3290, while the British pound traded at 58.0490 liras.
