Türkiye's BIST 100 index down at Friday's close
Benchmark index loses 62.9 points
ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Friday at 10,565.74 points, down 0.59%.
After starting the day at 10,604.89 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 62.89 points from Thursday's close.
The lowest value of the index was 10,440.44, while the daily high was 10,607.39.
The market value of the BIST 100 was around 9.9 trillion Turkish liras ($234.4 billion), with a trading volume of 104 billion liras ($2.46 billion).
A total of 28 stocks on the index rose and 68 dropped, compared to the previous close.
Gold was $4,094.30 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $64.2 per barrel as of 6.50 pm local time (1550GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 42.3300, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 49.1770, and the British pound traded for 55.6570 liras.
