Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 8,193.44 points, diving 3.21% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 8,300.69 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 271.49 points from Friday's close.

The price of an ounce of gold was $1,865.15, while Brent crude oil sold for around $87.94 per barrel as of 5.58 p.m. local time (1458GMT).

The US dollar/lira exchange rate was 27.7026, the euro/lira exchange rate was 29.2407, and the British pound traded at 33.8274 liras.
