ANKARA

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended the week at 10,891.42 points, increasing 0.18% from the previous close.

After notching its three-session losing streak, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 gained 19.94 points with a daily trading volume of 84.3 billion Turkish liras ($2.56 billion).

On a weekly basis, the index lost 2.37% as of Friday's close.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,383.50, while Brent crude oil sold for around $80.50 per barrel as of 6.23 p.m. local time (1523GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 32.9780, the euro/lira exchange rate was at 35.8432, and the British pound traded at 42.4171 liras.
