Türkiye's BIST 100 closes Wednesday on high note
Benchmark index rises 16.35 points at closing session

ANKARA
Türkiye's benchmark stock index finished Wednesday at 9,774.49 points, rising 0.17% from previous close.
After starting the day at 9,753.17 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 16.35 points with a daily transaction volume of 63 billion liras ($1.84 billion).
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,598.60, while Brent crude oil sold for around $73.09 per barrel as of 6.36 p.m. local time (1536GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 34.0906 the euro/lira exchange rate 37.8885, and the British pound traded at 44.9923 liras.
