Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Monday at 10,054.20 points, surging 2.36% from last week's close.
After starting the day at 9,866.98 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 232.24 points with a daily transaction volume of 80 billion liras ($2.39 billion).
Last week, the index lost 0.86% by Friday's close.
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,541.50, while Brent crude oil sold for around $78.95 per barrel as of 6.52 p.m. local time (1552GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 33.7525, the euro/lira exchange rate 37.3646, and the British pound traded at 43.8202 liras.
