Türkiye’s Borsa Istanbul opens slightly lower
Benchmark index down 0.08% after previous session’s gains

ISTANBUL
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 9,565.61 points, slightly down 0.08% or 7.6 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 1.29% to close at 9,573.21 points, with a daily transaction volume of 88 billion Turkish liras ($2.41 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 36.4515 as of 10.05 am (0705GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 38.2620, and the GBP/TRY traded at 46.1515.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,893.60, while the price of Brent crude oil was around $72.20 per barrel.
