Türkiye attracts $716M in FDI in January
EU countries account for 77% of total FDI in Türkiye

Foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows to Türkiye reached $716 million in the first month of 2026, the International Investors Association (YASED) announced Thursday.
The total value of FDI inflows to Türkiye since 2003 exceeded $289 billion.
Around $390 million of the total FDI was in investment capital, the association said, adding that $126 million worth of investments were in professional, scientific, and technical activities.
Investment liquidations had a downward effect of $254 million in the same month.
The EU countries' share in total FDI in Türkiye was at 77% in January, while Germany was the largest source with 37% among EU members.
