Turkish TAV Airports announced on Monday that TAV Operation Services, won a four-year tender to operate advertisement areas at Carthage Airport in Tunisia.
"Our company is going to make an investment of €300,000 ($335,000) at Carthage Airport, and will operate the advertisement areas at the arrivals and departures floor as well as on digital screens for four years," the company said in a statement.
TAV Operation Services already operate in two more airports in the country, Enfidha and Monastir Airports. Carthage Airport hosts more than 5 million passengers annually and is one of the main airports on the African continent, according to TAV.
"We undertook the operations of Air France/KLM Lounges at Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart airports on August 13 of last year. Today by taking that step in Tunisia, we have proved once more that we could export our know-how to anywhere around the globe,” Bora Isbulan, TAV Operation Services General Manager, said in a statement.
