Turkish stock exchange up at open
BIST 100 up 0.45% at Thursday’s open

ISTANBUL
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 9,353.61 points, up 0.45% or 41.48 points from Tuesday's close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 fell by 0.1% to 9,312.13 points, with a daily transaction volume of 84 billion Turkish liras ($2.2 billion).
On Wednesday, the stock market was closed due to commemorate National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
As of 10.10 a.m. local time (0710GMT), exchange rates stood at 38.2945 liras to the US dollar, 43.6145 to the euro, and 50.9580 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,337.60, while Brent crude oil was trading at $65.85 per barrel.
