Turkish stock exchange opens week looking up
Benchmark index gains 32.64 points at Monday opening

ANKARA
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 10,251.22 points, up 0.32%, or 32.64 points, from the previous close.
On Friday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 0.49% to close at 10,218.58 points with a transaction volume of 111.3 billion Turkish liras ($3.45 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.2290 as of 09.49 a.m. local time (0649GMT), the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 34.7198, while a British pound traded for 40.3792 liras.
Brent crude oil was selling for around $82.72 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $2,354.45.
