Turkish stock exchange opens midweek up
BIST 100 index rises 31.46 points at opening session on Wednesday

ANKARA
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 9,858.69 points, up 0.32% or 31.46 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index hiked 1.51% to reach 9,827.23 points, with a daily transaction volume of 108.78 billion Turkish liras ($3.13 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 34.7600 as of 09.53 a.m. (0653GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 36.5890, and the GBP/TRY traded at 44.1393.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,672.32 and the price of Brent crude oil was around $73.87 per barrel.
