Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 10,487.41 points, up 0.03% or 3.02 points from the previous close.

On Monday, the BIST 100 soared 2.7% to close at 10,484.39 points, with a daily transaction volume of 146.5 billion Turkish liras ($3.49 billion).


As of 10.15 am local time (0715GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.9670 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.8275 to the euro, and 56.2070 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,333.95, while Brent crude oil was trading at $60.60 per barrel.
