The Turkish benchmark stock index closed Tuesday at 10,486.09 points, up 0.35% from the previous close.
The BIST 100 index, after starting the day at 10,461.21, gained 36.73 points from the close on Monday.
The lowest point for the index during the day was 10,398.80, while the daily high was 10,594.08.
As many as 55 indexes gained in value, while 42 closed the day with losses.
The total transaction volume reached 131.5 billion Turkish liras ($3.18 billion), while the overall value of the index was 9.75 trillion liras ($236.9 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 41.2745 as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 48.4095, and the GBP/TRY traded at 55.8865.
The price of gold was $3,637.30 per ounce, while the barrel price of Brent oil was $66.90.
