Turkish stock exchange begins week soaring
BIST 100 earns 238.75 points

ISTANBUL
Türkiye's benchmark stock opened Monday at 11,533.23 points, soaring 2.11% or 238.75 points.
On Friday, the BIST 100 was up 2.23% at 11,294.48 points with a daily transaction volume of 171.4 billion Turkish liras ($4.14 billion).
As of 10.20 am local time (0720GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.3720 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.6320 to the euro, and 55.7905 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,711.90, while Brent crude oil was trading at $66.5 per barrel.
