Turkish stock exchange begins Thursday up
Benchmark BIST 100 index earns 32.95 points at opening bell

ISTANBUL
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 11,391.96 points, rising 0.29%, or 32.95 points, from the previous close.
On Wednesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 lost 1.48% to close at 11,359.01 points, with a daily transaction volume of 134.7 billion Turkish liras ($3.28 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.0520 liras to the US dollar, 47.9275 to the euro, and 55.5795 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,394.30, while Brent crude oil was trading at $66.90 per barrel.
