The Take Off Istanbul Startup Summit is taking Turkish startups to the global stage, the head of Türkiye's Investment and Finance Office said on Wednesday.

Speaking at the summit, Ahmet Burak Daglioglu stressed that the event is organized to bring capital to the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country.

The two-day summit with Anadolu as its global communications partner is being held at the Istanbul Expo Center under the leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), the Industry and Technology Ministry, and the Investment and Finance Office.

"There are so many talented startup founders in Türkiye and we were collaborating with them to guide them, to direct them to the right investment profile," he said.

He said the idea is to guide startups in the best way, depending on the availability of the investment amount, and depending on the strategy of the funds.

"And we also provide you a kind of direct access, direct communication channel to the investor community so you can easily reach out to the fund managers on that platform," he said.

Daglioglu said there are different concepts for the foreigners who want to invest in Türkiye and start a business, saying these include incubators, accelerator programs, technology development zones, and technology centers.
