European stock markets closed Tuesday mixed.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was down 1.11 points, or 0.24%, to 453.38.
The UK's FTSE 100 decreased 27 points, or 0.35%, to end the session at 7,757. Germany's DAX 30 lost 9 points, or 0.07%, to 15,093.
France's CAC 40, on the other hand, rose 18 points, or 0.26%, to close at 7,050.
Italy's FTSE MIB posted a 62-point, or 0.24%, gain to finish at 25,884. Spain's IBEX 35 rose 23 points, or 0.26%, to end the day at 8,967.
