ANKARA
Turkey’s international news channel on Friday announced it is accepting applications for the two-month-long fellowship program.
TRT World Academy's third cycle of TRT World and TRT Arabi -- the Arabic broadcasting service -- fellowship program will take place from June 17 to Aug. 10.
The program is expected to provide 20 participants with the opportunity to learn the dynamics of a rapidly changing media industry as well as Turkish life and culture.
The program especially welcomes junior journalists and fresh graduates who are interested in enhancing their knowledge
Successful 20 applicants will spend their time in TRT World and TRT Arabi’s news and current affairs, as well as digital and research departments.
"Fellows will receive hands-on experience and some on-site training for their professional development. In return, TRT World will benefit not only from their day-to-day contributions but also from the fresh perspectives they bring to the table," said Ibrahim Eren, director general and chairman of TRT.

Istanbul-based TRT World -- Turkey’s first English broadcasting international news platform -- was launched in 2015 as a part of Turkish public broadcaster, which operates 14 television channels and nearly 20 radio stations.
