At least nine people were killed and two others injured when a firework factory exploded in central Thailand on Wednesday.
The incident, which leveled the factory and damaged vehicles, happened in Muang district of Suphan Buri province, state broadcaster ThaiPBS reported.
Provincial Governor Piriya Chantadilok and other officials had reached the scene, while people were barred from entering the area for fear of likely explosions.
In January, an explosion had killed 23 people at a firework factory in the province’s Suan Taeng sub-district.
