China's annual inflation at 0.3% in May
Food prices down by 2% in May, while non-food up by 0.8% year-on-year

China's annual inflation rate was at 0.3% in May, unchanging from April, the country's National Bureau of Statistics announced on Wednesday.
In May, food prices dropped by 2% in the country while non-food item rose by 0.8%, the bureau said.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices dropped by 0.1% in the country.
In May, food prices unchanged from April while goods prices dropped by 0.1%.
The monthly inflation was at 0.1% in April.
