Anadolu Agency (AA) News Academy started the interviews to determine the final shortlist of candidates, as the final phase of assessment following the written exam held on August 14, before they are admitted into the three-month new journalism training program in English, namely the "Agency Journalism Certificate Program."
The "News Academy", AA's division working to cultivate a new generation of journalists, will launch its "Agency Journalism Certificate Program" on September 2.
The program focuses on news-writing in English, as well as other skills for journalism.
After the two-day interviews, successful participants will be employed at the agency’s English News Desk.
Participants of the "Agency Journalism Certificate Program" will have 420 hours of training over twelve weeks, 280 devoted to theory and 140 to practice.
82 participants proved successful at the written exam and gained the right to attend the interviews for the "Agency Journalism Certificate Program" organized by AA News Academy to achieve the goal of news broadcasting in foreign languages as part of the centennial vision of Anadolu Agency.
