ANKARA
Foreign ministers form an number of countries of the Friends of the Syrian People Group will come together in Jordan's capital Amman, on Wednesday, May 22.
"This meeting is also a follow-up to the Istanbul meeting held on April 20, 2013 and it is aimed at coordinating efforts by the international community for the resolution of the ongoing conflict in Syria by peaceful means within the framework of the legitimate demands of the Syrian people and for the establishment of peace and stability in this country as soon as possible," Turkish Foreign Ministry said statement on Tuesday.
Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, top diplomats and senior officials from the US, Britain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, the UAE, Italy, Germany and France and the representatives of the Syrian National Coalition would take part in the meeting.
