ISTANBUL
Matthew Livelsberger, the suspect in the Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion, participated in a military-themed reality competition on the History Channel, according to a media report.
He appeared on “The Ultimate Soldier Challenge," 12 years ago, the Inside Edition television newsmagazine reported.
Livelsberger and his Green Beret partner took on two teams in a series of military challenges.
When he appeared on the show, Livelsberger used "Matt. Burg," a shorter version of his name. At one point, Livelsberger had to stop production due to heat exhaustion.
Livelsberger, an active duty member of the Army Special Forces, shot himself in the head earlier this week in a Tesla Cybertruck packed with firework mortars, shortly before it exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.
