    Bus collision in Nigeria leaves 25 dead

    ANKARA

    Twenty-five passengers were confirmed dead Thursday after two buses collided head-on in northern Nigeria.

    The buses, one carrying 22 passengers, collided on the Bauchi-Kano route in Bauchi state, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Jamal Datti Abubakar.

    He added that one passenger was severely injured.

    Four of the dead have been identified by family members.
