Turkish non-governmental organizations have been preparing aid to send to Gaza after Israel and Palestine main to obtain a cease-fire, which went into effect on August 26.
Turkish aid organizations; Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), Doctors Worldwide, Deniz Feneri and Sadakatasi Associations announced they would like to help Gazans and take part in infrastructure works in fields of education, health and housing.
IHH will announce new campaigns in the upcoming days that will help support reconstruction and development in Gaza.
"We check all health services and equipment, and replace destroyed with news ones," stated Doctors Worldwide Director General Ali Dogan.
Deniz Feneri Association Chairman Mehmet Cengiz said that housing problems in Gaza would be solved after the water and food problems were solved.
An Egypt-brokered cease-fire went into effect on Tuesday August 26, ending 51 days of relentless Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip in which 2,145 Palestinians were killed and over 11,000 injured – the vast majority of them civilians.
