DAKAR
Turkish Ambassador in Dakar Sibel Algan hosted a reception in honor of Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc.
Arinc is visiting Senegal to attend African Media Leaders Forum.
Speaking at the reception, Arinc asked Senegalese officials to attach more importance in Turkish businessmen.
Noting that Turkey's initiative to open to African countries was continuing, Arinc said, "Turkey won non-permanent membership in UN Security Council in the first voting in 2011. African countries had extended full support to Turkey's membership. We want this membership again in 2015."
Arinc also made the inauguration of football field of Yavuz Selim Turkish School in Senegal.
