Thousands of pro-life activists protested abortion law in Washington, D.C. by joining in the 'March For Life' rally, which was held on the anniversary of the Supreme Court verdict legalizing abortion in the case Roe v. Wade in 1973.
People from all around the country and students from the Roman Catholic Church gathered at National Mall in the freezing cold chanting slogans, 'No to Abortion' and 'We Love Babies and You?'
Addressing the crowd march leader, Patrick Kelly said we might be freezing but we are freezing for the world’s best cause, US House of Representatives Majority Leader, Eric Cantor said that the Republicans would vote for eliminating tax for abortion.
Pope Francis rendered his support for the march on Twitter saying that he prayed for the whole mankind especially for the least protected.
