Syrian people expressed thought that Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad was crueler than his father Hafez al-Assad.
A 70-year-old Syrian, Ibrahim K., who has fled massacre in his country and taken shelter in Turkey, said he had served ten years in prison during Hafez al-Assad rule without any logical reason.
"His father used to put us in prisons. Bashar al-Assad is crueler than his father, he is carrying out a massacre," Ibrahim K. told AA correspondent in a tent-site in the southern Turkish province of Hatay.
Ibrahim K. said his villagers and he had fled to Turkey as Syrian army had occupied their village and houses, and their lives were in danger.
More than 1,000 people in his village had to leave Syria, Ibrahim K. said.
