KONYA
Turkish journalist Adem Ozkose shot a documentary movie about the tragedy in Syria after he was freed following a two-month imprisonment in that country.
Ozkose, who earlier went to Syria to prepare news reports, was imprisoned for two months, and then released. In December, he went back to Syria, and shot "Syrian Documentary".
Ozkose told AA on Wednesday that they did not want wars happen in the world, but they would keep going to war-stricken regions as this was their job.
Noting that he decided to go back to Syria a short while after he was freed from the prison, Ozkose said that he could not stay indifferent towards such a big incident occurring just nearby Turkey.
Ozkose said that filming the documentary in the north of Syria lasted for six days, adding that he and his cameraman displayed the suffering of people in that country.
Ozkose said that he found Syria this time more different than the time he had been held captive.
We spoke with a family there. This family lost four of their 14 children. We also spoke with people lined up in front of a bakery to buy bread. They said they had been waiting for four hours, said Ozkose.
We also filmed the schools and courts set up by opponents, he added.
