Turkish Ambassador in Mogadishu Cemalettin Kani Torun has said that currently Somalia was in a better condition.
Assessing his one year as an ambassador in Mogadishu to AA, Torun said that Turkish embassy was not only pursuing a regular diplomatic mission in Somalia but also exerting efforts to have the people stand on their feet again.
We see this as a recovery activity, said Torun, adding that they exerted great efforts and were tired very much while helping Somali people, but it worth.
Now, Somalia is in a better condition, and I hope it will be much better, said Torun.
Torun added that he acted not only as a diplomat but also a non-governmental organization leader and the manager of state investments as well as a mediator in Somalia.
