The scientific study suggests that Lionel Messi is genetically more advantageous than another star player Cristiano Ronaldo.

A scientific study that was conducted by universities Oxford, St. Andrews and Bristol in coordination with several Australian institutions reaches the conclusion that the players who favour their left foot tend to be more productive and talented.

Thanks to this recently discovered gene, players who use their left foot have inverted brain hemisphere functions, which gives them an extra dose of unpredictability.

Diego Maradona and Ryan Giggs are some left-footed players.
