MOSCOW
Aslan Usoyan, Russia's most notorious criminal boss, known as "Grandfather Khasan" was shot dead in Moscow on Wednesday.
According to a statement released from Russian Interior Ministry that he was shot when he was about to leave a restaurant which locates on Povarskaya Street in Russian capital.
It was added that after the shooting the mafia boss was rushed to a hospital where he died from wounds.
76 Years old Usoyan was born in Georgia and spent most of his life in prison.
He was considered to have been the "Godfather" of Russian mafia as he was controlling most criminal gangs in the country. However, he failed to take control of Azerbaijani gangs in Moscow.
