A person wanted by Interpol with a red notice for a crime committed in Austria was captured in Türkiye's central Kirikkale province, police said on Friday.

The Austrian national, identified only by initials H. C., was wanted on charges of drug trafficking, according to a police statement.

After the interrogation process, the suspect was handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
