Online trading platforms down on Monday

ISTANBUL

Several major online trading platforms saw failures on Monday for thousands of users, according to outage tracker Downdetector. 

Charles Schwab, Fidelity Investments, E-Trade and TD Ameritrade and investment consultant firm Vanguard's website went down during morning hours on Monday.

Charles Schwab said some clients saw difficulties due to a technical issue.

"Please accept our apologies as our teams work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible," it stated.

There is no statement yet for details of technical issue which caused failures at the same time for all of these platforms.
