"We are happy to see Turkey pursuing an active role in the Middle East. And no matter what other say, we are proud of Turkish people's and government's interest in the region," bin Abdullah told the Anadolu Agency.
Bin Abdullah said Turkey was "a gateway" to Muslim countries, adding that as model country, Turkey represented Muslim countries in the best way.
Bin Abdullah said Omani-Turkish relations had developed significantly over the past decade, pointing out that Turkish companies had major business in financial and construction sector in Oman.
