ANKARA
Ali Laareydh, designated to form the new government in Tunisia, said on Friday that they reached consensus with parties which would form the coalition and he would present the cabinet to President Moncef Marzouki on Saturday.
After his meeting with President Marzouki in capital Tunis, Laareydh stated, "We have agreed on forming the new government. The programme has been prepared. Accordingly, we have shaped up the priorities of the government, its responsibilities and the policies it will follow after a long marathon of talks."
Saying that the new government would belong to Tunisians, Laareydh stated, "This will bring Tunisians together in line with the objectives of the revolution. I am going to present the new government to President Marzouki tomorrow."
