Pakistan's former president Pervez Musharraf escaped from the court following an arrest warrant was issued for him by a local court.
Sources close to Musharraf said he was taken by his soldier bodyguards to a farm in Rawalpindi province.
Former general Musharraf is being supported largely by the military members.
Rawalpindi High Court issued arrest warrant for Musharraf on Thursday who has been on trial for his negligence on the killings of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto in 2007 and tribe leader Akbar Bugti in 2006.
Seizing power with a coup d'etat in 1999, Musharraf could not bear to the pressure by the opposition and left his post in 2008.
Settled in Britain for years, he returned to Pakistan on March 11 to run in the upcoming general elections.
