- Israeli army conducted ‘a precise strike’ on Hamas leadership
Israel's military confirmed that it conducted a "precise strike targeting the senior leadership" of Hamas in Doha.
Qatar strongly condemned the attack as a "blatant violation of international law" and a threat to its sovereignty and security.
Hamas’ leadership survived the Israeli airstrike, a senior group leader confirmed.
- Poland says it downed drones that violated its airspace during Russian strikes on Ukraine
Poland said it downed drone-type objects that repeatedly violated its airspace during Russian strikes on Ukrainian targets.
Polish and allied radars tracked several dozen objects, and some unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that violated its airspace and could have posed a threat were shot down, said Poland's Armed Forces Operational Command.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he briefed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on the current situation and the measures taken regarding objects violating their airspace.
- Global Sumud Flotilla reports 2nd drone attack on vessel
The Global Sumud Flotilla reported a second suspected drone attack on one of its vessels as the aid convoy prepares to depart Tunisia for Gaza.
"The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) confirms that on September 9, another boat in our fleet -- the 'Alma' -- was attacked by a drone as it was docked in Tunisian waters," it said in a statement.
There was no significant structural damage after an initial examination and everyone in the boat was safe.

- Trump says US, India to continue trade negotiations
US President Donald Trump said the United States and India are continuing negotiations to address trade barriers between the two countries.
"I am pleased to announce that India, and the United States of America, are continuing negotiations to address the Trade Barriers between our two Nations," Trump wrote
Reacting to Trump’s post, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who described India and the US as “close friends and natural partners,” said he is “confident that our trade negotiations will pave the way for unlocking the limitless potential of the India-US partnership.”
- Global game market revenues to reach $188.8B in 2025
Global game market revenues are expected to reach $188.8 billion in 2025, up 3.4% year-on-year, according to a report released by research firm Newzoo.
PC game revenues will reach $39.9 billion, up 2.5%, while console revenues will rise 5.5% to $45.9 billion, the Newzoo report said.
Mobile revenues are projected to reach $103 billion in 2025, up 2.9%, the report noted.
Global game players are expected to reach 3.6 billion by 2025, representing a 4.4% spike from 2024.

- Türkiye beat Poland 91-77 to reach EuroBasket 2025 semifinals
Türkiye advanced to the semifinals of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 after defeating Poland 91-77 in the quarterfinal.
The Turkish national team advanced to the semifinals for the first time in 24 years and will face a Greece matchup in the semifinals, scheduled for Sept. 12.
The other semifinalists will be determined after the Germany-Slovenia and Finland-Georgia matches Wednesday.
