PARIS
Princess Charlene of Monaco have birth on Wednesday to royal twins, a girl and a boy according to Palace officials.
"The Princess and the children are doing well," a royal announcement said.
Only one of the royal couple's first children can take the throne.
The boy, named Jacques Honore Rainier, will be first-in-line to the throne, not his twin sister, Therese Marie Gabriella, according to Monaco's constitution.
Princess Charlene, 36, and Prince Albert II, 56, married in July 2011.
