
ANKARA (AA) - King Harald V of Norway will pay a visit to Turkey as a guest of Turkish President Abdullah Gul between November 5 and 7, 2013, said a presidential statement.
The visit will be the first one at the presidential level since 1926 when diplomatic relations between Turkey and Norway had been established.
Relations between the two countries, including political and economic issues, will be discussed at official meetings to be held on November 5.
Both countries will discuss additional opportunities aiming to increase trade volume and mutual investments as well as current regional and international affairs.
As known, Norway has key technological experience and savings in renewable energy resources as well as being a petroleum and natural gas producer. In this scope, the guest King will attend opening of Turkey-Norway Partnership Forum on Renewable Energy.
In the aftermath of the official communications, the King will meet with representatives of business world in Istanbul on November 7.
