ROME
Italian President Giorgio Napolitano on Monday took oath at the Italian House of Representatives and began serving his second term.
Napolitano was reelected on Saturday.
Napolitano received 738 votes from 997 delegates in the sixth round of voting at the Presidential Election Assembly.
President Napolitano thanked the Italian Parliament for reelecting him.
"I am grateful to the Italian Parliament for the confidence in me," Napolitano said.
