The Israeli soldier who shot dead an alleged Palestinian attacker who had already been disarmed has been indicted for manslaughter on Monday.
The Times of Israel website reported that the indictment said Abdel Fattah al-Sharif, 21, "posed no immediate threat" when he was shot by the soldier without "operational justification".
Ramzi Aziz al-Qasrawi, 21, was also shot dead during the alleged attack in Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, which has sparked political debate in Israel after a video of the incident was published online.
Local media reported that right-wing groups planned a rally in Tel Aviv on Monday in support of the soldier, while Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon has been targeted by right-wing pressure groups for criticizing the killing.
