The Israeli army on Monday concluded a military drill, the largest in the occupied West Bank.
The drill, which started on Sunday, aimed to prepare soldiers on how to deal a potential deterioration on the situation on the ground and attempts to kidnap Israelis, Israel Public Radio reported.
A military source, meanwhile, said jet fighters, intelligence personnel and special combat forces participated in the training.
The Anadolu Agency could not comment from Palestinian Authority officials on the drilling.
Israeli security estimates predict deterioration in the security situation in the occupied West Bank in 2015 over the collapse of peace talks with the Palestinians.
The talks came to a halt in 2014 when Israel failed to honor an earlier pledge to release a group of Palestinian detainees from its jails.Anadolu Agency website contains only a portion of the news stories offered to subscribers in the AA News Broadcasting System (HAS), and in summarized form.
