JERUSALEM
Al-Aqsa Foundation and Cultural Heritage Organization in Jerusalem on Friday stated that Israel started the construction of a synagogue near the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.
The construction of the synagogue began 50 metres away from the Wailing Wall, according to the written statement of Al-Aqsa Foundation.
Al-Aqsa announced that they would make a press conference to present the documents and plans related to the construction on Sunday.
Head of 1948 Palestinian Islamic Movement Raed Salah and former mufti of Jerusalem Ikrime Sabri are also expected to attend the press conference.
