An Israeli fighter hit a training site of the Palestinian resistance group Islamic Jihad in the central Gaza Strip on Monday.
Two missiles were fired at the site, according to an Anadolu Agency reporter.
No casualties were reported.
The strike came shortly after Israeli radio reported that two rockets were fired from the coastal enclave near the border fence with Israel.
Former prime minister Ariel Sharon, who died Saturday at the age of 85, was buried earlier today in the Negev Desert some 10km from the Gaza Strip.
