The Houthis claimed late Thursday that they bombed a military base in Saudi Arabia's southern Jizan province, according to the Yemeni al-Masirah TV channel.
Houthi fighters had carried out the attack on the military base in the Yemen-Saudi Arabia border province using Katyusha rockets, al-Masirah reported a Houthi statement published late Thursday as saying.
Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi was elected president of Yemen in 2012, before being ousted by the Houthis last September.
On March 25, Saudi Arabia and its Arab allies began an extensive air campaign targeting Houthi positions across the country.
